About Me

Greetings! My name is Heather and I am the creator of The DisNMe. First and foremost I would like to send my heartfelt appreciation to you for stopping by my site. Creating this website and Disney content was always a dream of mine and one day I finally decided to take Walt’s advice of “If you can dream it you can do it” to heart and make my dreams come true. 

I grew up in New England and was raised in a household surrounded by Disney movies and TV Shows. Trips to Disney World were not frequent but when they did happen…lets just say they are some of my fondest childhood memories. 

When I was in college I found myself a partner who shared a love of Disney with me. When we got married my husband and I had a Disney inspired wedding and honeymooned in Walt Disney World. 

Even before our wedding we decided that New England was just too far away from the magic. So shortly after our honeymoon we packed up and moved down to Florida. We have been annual passholders and taken countless trips to Disney World and multiple Disney Cruise Line voyages. When we became parents we began traveling as a family. Our youngest took her first Walt Disney World trip at just 2 1/2 months of age. 

Over the years I have become the person all my friends and coworkers would turn to for advice when planning their Disney vacations. And that is where the idea for The DisNMe was born. With decades of experience in traveling to Walt Disney World and planning vacations, I wanted to create a welcoming place for others to learn and plan for the next trip. So join me on this journey and lets get started in helping you plan your next magical vacation!
